eet Alexi everyone.  Isn’t she adorable?  “Lex” or “Lexi” or “Schnauzer,” as we affectionately call her, is Fletcher’s new best friend.  I think he was getting bored with the cats…

new look is what I need for this blog.  I’m getting bored with it.  Unfortunately, my hard drive crashed and I haven’t loaded any of my programs like Photoshop CS back on my computer.  I’m rather sick over the whole crash thing.  I had everything backed up on an external hard drive - and that one is ashes too.  Figures.  The worst thing about the crash is all of the photos I’ve lost, years of them.  Those things are irreplaceable.  I even lost journal entries.

Spring is around the corner.  Trees are blooming here in the great state of Georgia.  I’m ready for good riding weather.

t is rainy today.  The drops of water fall from the sky and beat in a melodic rhythm on the roof of my house.  I like days like this when I can sit inside by the warm fire with a hot cup of tea and snuggle up in my favorite blankie.  The horses are standing at the tree line with heads low as the rain drips off their fuzzy winter coats.  I love my horses.  There is mud everywhere.  I want a barn.  I want a barn - bad.

Thanks to everyone that left comments on my last post.  I wrote an eight-sentence entry above.  It’s a start anyway.

t is not like me to go months over a year without writing from the heart - somewhere.  I need a new journal.  I need a lot of things.  Life has been so melancholy for me lately.  I’ve been ill - nausea all the time.  I’ve been to the doc for all kinds of tests - more next week.  And then there are the winter ‘blues’ - though my blues are directly related to some issues going on in my life right now.  I wish I could just hold my head up high and not let things get to me, but this one thing isn’t going away anytime soon.  And then there is that other thing --- time will make that better and I know I will get through ...

I’m sorry this is so vague.

However, I was really hurt by a friend who used to read my online diary.  Really hurt.  And I quit writing.  I would like to go back to writing with full expression, emotion, and passion.
